Works in the audiovisual industry since the late 1970s.

Fait ses débuts à la RTBF (Télévision belge) au Service Enquêtes et Reportages. Travaille ensuite pour Sofidoc où elle exerce les fonctions d’assistante réalisatrice (Malpertuis, avec Orson Welles), Mont-Dragon (avec Jacques Brel), Préparez vos mouchoirs (avec Patrick Dewaere, Gérard Depardieu et Carole Laure).

Françoise Levie commenced her career at the RTBF (Belgian Television) in the Investigation and Reports Department. She next worked for Sofidoc as assistant director (”Malpertuis”, starring Orson Welles), “Mont-Dragon” (starring Jacques Brel), “Get Out Your Handkerchiefs” (starring Patrick Dewaere, Gérard Depardieu and Carole Laure).

She followed up a director of documentaries, working in coproduction with various television channels (Canal+, France 2, La Cinquième, RTBF, VRT, Avro Télévision).
